Brewing for a Cause: Raising Awareness & Funds for Breast Cancer Research
At Badger State Brewing, we believe that great beer can do more than bring people together—it can make a difference. In October 2021, we proudly joined the Real Men Wear Pink campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, partnering with local advocate and friend of the brewery, Cameron Teske, to raise funds for vital research, patient support, and awareness.
How We Made an Impact
To rally our community around this important cause, we introduced our Brewing A Better State Series: Raspberry Walloon Witbier—a crisp, fruit-forward beer brewed with purpose. For every draught pour sold, a portion of the proceeds was donated to the campaign. Additionally, supporters could contribute by purchasing breast cancer awareness t-shirts from our gift shop.
And the response? Incredible! Thanks to our amazing customers, we raised over $1,300 to help fund life-saving breast cancer research and support services.
A Brewery Partnership for Good
To amplify our efforts, we teamed up with Stillmank Brewing for not one, but TWO impactful collaborations:
🍻 They poured our Raspberry Walloon Witbier at their brewery, and we proudly featured their Friends for Life Guava Juiced IPA at ours.
💖 Proceeds from each beer were donated to each other’s respective breast cancer awareness organizations.
Together, we proved that craft beer has the power to bring communities together for a greater good.
Join Us in Making a Difference
At Badger State Brewing, giving back is part of who we are. Whether it’s through special releases, community events, or partnerships like this one, we’re always looking for ways to brew a better future. Stay tuned for future collaborations and charitable initiatives—because every pint poured can make a difference! 🍻💗
